Before joining 182 Productions, Tim studied sound production at the Steinburg Music Centre in Manchester, England. When he returned to Boston, he won the Fifteen Minutes of Fame DJ contest three times, while co-founding the production management company, Luna Productions. With his unrivaled disc-jockeying expertise, he shot to the top of the list as one of the most sought after DJs in New England, playing private parties, weddings, clubs, and festivals throughout.
Tim’s personal style is unobtrusive and elegant, yet his fluidity in mixing songs, and his ability to read your guest’s mood, allows him to create just the right ambiance from one moment to the next, whether he’s dropping unreleased tracks at an after-hours show, or spinning classics at an upscale event.
In addition to his talents as an audio engineer and disc Jockey, Tim is an accomplished musician in his own right. He first found his interest in music during elementary school when he started playing the cello. Four years later, he picked up the saxaphone and still incorporates the instrument today in his DJ mixes, as well as in music he makes with the two bands he is currently a member of; The Romano Project, and Blanket Party.
Tim uses the turntables as an instrument to scratch, mix samples, and compose to create unique compilations and original sounds. He has published and released over a dozen albums of his original mixes, as well as plays on a multitude of tracks for other artists.
